I remember when I first talked to Kendall…Infectious energy, infectious smile…and she told me about how she was manifesting the man of her dreams and wanted to be married by 40…Insert TJ. Tall, handsome, smart, fun, as nice as can be and the perfect complement to Kendalls vivacious energy.

Yall—i love this sort of energy. The want it, attract it type.

When we started chatting about what they both wanted the vibe of their elopement to be, where they wanted it to be there was one really important factor to consider…the date

You see, when considering an international elopement the majority of the time couples are taking on what is considered a “commitment ceremony” that is a non-legal ceremony but a very emotional one to step forth on this crazy little thing called their forever adventure. In this way its a bit more fuss free…

But for Kendall and TJ it was important for them to keep their date…

the date where a year later they got engaged…

and a year after to be married

SO MANY COUNTRIES require either residency, longer periods of time “on ground” (upwards of 65 days), blood tests, etc in order to say I DO legally—but not Costa Rica. Passports, a good lawyer (facilitator) and a apostille/notarized copy of the done deed is all it takes to say hello to forever in one of the most stunning countries on the planet.

Costa Rica is was and 10 months after meeting them we , Kendall, TJ, Myself (Kayla!) and Makall (HMUA), set off to San Juan for the adventure of a lifetime

A special detail: They decided to get waxing and waning crescent tattoos from the day they had their first date and the day they got married cue happy tears
