All Inclusive Peru Elopement

Because sometimes you have to just hop on a plane, head to South America, and say I do to your best friend in front of some of the most jaw-dropping mountains in the world (no, seriously, check them out)

So I can’t really do justice to how ABSOLUTELY FRIKEN EPIC this elopement was without a little back story…

So last year David (the most badass guide on the planet and lead guide here at AP) and I were on a climbing trip in Peru. After getting off the mountain I decided to go around exploring and wanted to take some photos in non-dirtbag climber clothes. We hiked around for a bit and stumbled upon THE SPOT.

I remember it was like magic. I looked at David and said “this would be such a perfect spot for an elopement” to which he replied (in typical David fashion) “LETS DO IT”

AND GUESS WHAT?—WE DID IT

Exactly a year later we found ourselves in that same spot witnessing a badass couple committing themselves to each other to be adventure-companions-for-life in one of the most insane places on the planet

Okay, so now back to the deets

Corrine and I met on Instagram before she was even officially engaged. You see, when you know you know. So the second Adam actually popped the question she and I were already down to scheming up the experience of a lifetime.

At first she really was considering Alaska—which BTW—-Im totally down for and 100% recommend as an excellent option for your elopement

for some drool-worth Alaska content, check this link

Now now, Im all about having your day wherever you want since your day IS ABOUT YOU— buuuuut if you want to play, experience something new and really get a lot of IMPACT for you budget—-Central and South America is the way to go

So away we did go

Peru Adventure Elopement

7 days of adventure, relaxation and some of the most thoughtful details i’ve ever pulled off this elopement was one for the books.

From cakes and a bouquet (made by yours truly from flowers handpicked from the market in northern Lima) using Corinne’s favorite

Its always a good idea on multi-day experiences to be prepared to pack up your dress and take it for a (literal) spin in other settings., Not only is it insanely fun to frolic around in your wedding duds on the reg but where adam and corrine chose to bring their outfits—-well, let’s just say I’m looking forward to trying to top that.

They chose to get dolled up and dance their first dance in front of a glacial lake. Serene breathtaking, and intimate.

Of course, this is Advneture Pact, and if youve been here for a while you already know, but if youre new there is a rule here:

GET IN THE DANG WATER (when there is water of course :p)

AND HELL YEA THEY DID

Post first dance they gathered their things and took a plunge in the perfectly turquoise waters of a high altitude glacial lake in Peru

Now thats ending things with a splash (pun fully intended)

Now here’s a photo of the blushing bride using the gas station restroom in her dress (and check our BTS highlight for the reactions from the locals :p)
