3 day Peru Elopement + MiniMoon
Anri and a Noah started off their 6 week South America adventure eloping in a high alpine lake in Peru
I know a lot of yall are sitting here planning your wedding day and thinking “hell, this just all seems like so much fuss—I want to have some fun”
Thats EXACTLY what Anri and Noah thought.
Not stoked on the ordinary theyreached out wanting an epic but simple elopement in a jaw dropping place.
Well, thats kinda what we do here
4 hours from Cusco they were whisked away to the foothills of Salkantay to enjoy their pre wedding night in the mountains before starting their short trek to their wedding location.
3am came around quickly as we got Anri ready by flashlight since the power had gone out overnight but all were smiles nonetheless.
Upwards we trekked by starlight. The milky way greeted us as our only company (perks of waking up insanely early—no crowds).
As daylight broke upon the horizon we reached the lake surrounded bynot a single soul but the chinchillas succring about.
Noah and Anri exchanged private vows before a simple picnic and reading notes collected in an album from friends and family
Simple really can be the best way to say I do. No fuss, no frills. Just being together.
Thats kind of the point though isnt it?
Being in the moment with your adventure companion for life.
Day 2 and 3 were filled with camping, kayaking, hiking and visiting an extremely friendly alpaca named Panchito.
Anri and Noah were able to experience a new location to tourism in Peru and we even had the honor to make a little ceremony of wine and coca leaves to thank the Pachamama (mother nature) to thank her for allowing us to recreate in such a special place
Before heading on their way for the rest of their journey through Peru, Bolivia and Chile we visited the market and got to see the stunning doorways, cobbled streets, colorful crafts and invigorating sounds of Cusco
