Sedona Elopement

Sometimes the best laid plans end up being better when they well, dont go as planned

When Jordan and Colby first reached out they dreamed of a wild and hot elopement…

Im not taling about sexy “hot” (although they are both smokeshows in their own right)…im talking physical dry heat. Ideas ranging from Death Valley hikes and rings of fire in the Valley of Fire.

They didnt want anything complicated, just hiking, epic photos and lots of laughs. After much talking we decided on VEGAS DESERT October 2023

Well fast forward to july and i get the message “what would you thuink about us getting married in 3 weeks instead?”

Always a fan of spontaneity I asked what theyre were thinking…SEDONA. Gorgeous red rocks, streams, and endless skies.

Heck yes, lets do it.

Now man oh man. If youve been around the southwest the last 2 years or just been conscious about how crazy climate change has been hitting once dry places like the desert in AUGUST…what appeared to be a nice sunny forcast turned into rainy and lightning storms for the afternoon they were scheduled to do the dang thing.

So once again we rolled with the changes and moved plans to the morning instead…

the best laid plans sometimes are better when they dont go as planned (repeated for emphasis)

A cool and slightly cloudy morning to exchange vows opened the day to a refreshingly cool August elopement day in Sedona and truly a magical first day for their forever adventure

Oh yea

They also totally sent it in the river at the end of their day because why the hell not?
