Utah Short-n-Sweet Elopement

The thing about Nature is that you can never really predict what is going to happen.

In early April heavy rains and storms pummled the west coast down Highway one, a notoriously windy and narrow highway that stetches from california northward. This famed area is home to Big Sur where Reed and Isabel originally planned on eloping

But you know how it goes, life happens

The segment of Big Sur surrounding the most loved elopement spots such as Ventana, Pfeiffer Stater Park, Garrapata beach and the Bixby bridge collpased—-effectively turning it into an Island

*Cue pivoting on a dime

I recieved a call and within two weeks we had set up a new plan for their elopement as they wanted to keep the original date. So off we went to southern Utah for a simple hiking elopement with a cannoli cake ( YUM) that thankfully survived the offroading it took to get there, some bubbly and a whole lot of love.
